Freedom Indiana to host faith vigil opposing Senate Bill 101 March 4, 2015

INDIANAPOLIS — Faith leaders and organizations will gather alongside Hoosier families tonight at Roberts Park United Methodist Church in Downtown Indianapolis to show unified opposition to Senate Bill 101, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

The vigil will feature a keynote address by Dr. Matthew Myer Boulton, president of Christian Theological Seminary.

Freedom from discrimination is a core American and Hoosier value.  Senate Bill 101 would bring potentially harmful and unintended consequences to those who call our state home, and we must not pass laws that would disrupt our economic growth, invite costly legal challenges and make our state appear unwelcoming to visitors and residents alike.
